MedVance Non-Border Super Absorbent Dressing

MedVance® Super Absorbent Wound Dressings are structured to absorb and retain significant amounts of wound exudate. The hydrophilic wound contact layer does not adhere to the wound site while transmitting fluid into the dressing. A distribution layer spreads exudate to maximize the use of the superabsorbent gelling fiber pad, enhancing fluid absorption and retention. The semi-occlusive backing layer prevents fluid and microbial strike-through while maintaining an appropriate moist wound healing environment. MedVance® Super Absorbent Wound Dressings are available with and without silicone adhesive border. The silicone border acts as a gentle wound contact layer, which sticks to the skin around the wound but does not stick to the wound bed, providing atraumatic and pain-free removal at dressing changes
