With Hydrofera Blue® antibacterial foam dressings, the mode of action happens within the dressing itself, ensuring infection control without releasing active substances into the wound bed.

Made from polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) foam, Hydrofera Blue CLASSIC® Tunneling Dressings are infused with two organic antibacterial pigments – gentian violet and methylene blue – which provide non-cytotoxic protection and help to pull harmful bacteria, slough, and exudate from the wound surface.

These absorptive dressings manage exudate, reduces bacterial colonization, and do not inhibit growth factors, making it effective in all phases of the wound healing process.
