Atrauman AG Wound Contact Layer
Atrauman® Ag is a non-adherent wound contact layer suitable for the treatment of chronic wounds, such as ulcus cruris, diabetic leg ulcer and decubitus. It is also suitable for the treatment of acute burns up to 2nd degree.
Atrauman® Ag acts as a silver-containing barrier dressing. The soft, thin support fabric drapes easily and ensures close contact with the wound base. The impregnation is non-medicated, contains no paraffin, and protects the wound edges helping to prevent maceration. The fabric’s surface and the impregnation counteract adhesion to the wound; as a result, the dressing supports atraumatic dressing changes.

Open, network-like mesh coated with metallic silver that prohibits the growth of bacteria in the dressing
Antibacterial efficacy for a wear time up to 7 days
Prevents maceration by protecting and caring for the surrounding skin
Ability to drape allowing close contact with the wound base
Combinable with suitable secondary dressings like Zetuvit® Plus, transferring wound exudate to the secondary dressing
