Cutimed Sorbion Border Sacral Superabsorbent Dressing

Cutimed® Sorbion® Border Sacrum is a bordered, sterile, hydroactive, gel-forming, self-adhesive wound dressing, offering atraumatic dressing changes. The dressing has a special shape specifically desgined for sacral wounds. The dressing consists of a strong water-retaining superabsorbent core, a wound contact layer from a hypoallergenic polypropylene, a silicone adhesive border and a breathable waterproof backing from polyurethane.

Intended Purpose

Indications: Cutimed® Sorbion® Border Sacrum is intended for the treatment of exudating wounds with moderate to excessive exudate levels such as pressure injuries, venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and other wounds healing through secondary intention, oozing laparotomy wounds,  exulcerating carcinomas, postoperative wound dehiscence and similar exudating wounds.

Wear time: Cutimed® Sorbion® Border Sacrum should be changed as often as clinically indicated and must be not fully saturated. Cutimed® Sorbion® Border Sacrum can remain in place for heavily exuding wounds, up to 4 days. For wounds with moderate exudation, the dressing wearing time can be extended for up to 7 days.
