As it provides 20-30mmHg gradient compression, Econo-Paste is also an excellent choice for treating Lymphedema, edema and leg ulcers. The high cotton content of Econo-Paste allows the bandages to easily stretch and conform to body contours. How to Use Econo-Paste Unna-Boot Conforming Paste Bandage

1. Start Econo-Paste at the base of the toes, keeping the foot and ankle at a right angle. Continue wrapping with a 75% overlap in a spiral fashion while applying light tension. Stop 1-2 inches below the knee.
2. Complete the bandage – smooth and mold with your hands
3. Cover Econo-Paste with an elastic or cohesive bandage for compression. Maintain an even tension and cover completely.

Warnings

• Not to be used on patients with advanced arterial occlusive disease, congestive heart failure, ankle brachial pressure index (ABPI) > 1.3, arterial ulcers, material incompatibilities, and advanced sensory disturbances of the lower extremities.
• Use caution on patients with skin diseases, diabetes mellitus, mixed ulcers, and ankle-brachial pressure index (ABPI) <0.8.
• Econo-Paste should be used over intact skin.
• Avoid storing under direct sunlight and keep away from moisture
