Mepilex Border Ag Foam Dressings provide an all-in-one solution for absorbing and holding onto exudate and creating a moist environment for optimal wound healing. Releasing silver sulphate particles, this antimicrobial foam dressing utilizes Safetac technology to close off the wound’s edges. This action prevents exudate from leaking from the dressing onto the surrounding skin, lowers the risk of irritation and maceration, and reduces damage to the wound and surrounding skin during removal.

How to Use Mepilex Border Ag Foam Dressing

1. Clean the wound bed before application. Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.
2. Remove the release films.
3. Apply the dressing, adherent side down, to the skin by making sure the foam extends at least 2cm from the wound bed. Do not stretch.
4. Mepilex Border AG may be left on for several days, but should be changed before saturation or as indicated by your healthcare professional. To remove, gently lift one corner and slowly peek back the dressing.
