PolyMem Silver is a proven multifunctional, semipermeable wound dressing matrix incorporating a superabsorbent, moisturizer, a safe built-in wound cleanser and small particle silver. Indicated for majority of wounds and injuries. When applied to open wounds, provides continuous cleansing and debridement so procedure-related pain during dressing changes is usually eliminated; conforms to wound, helps balance wound moisture.
PolyMem Silver dressings have been used to help jump-start stalled wounds, manage wounds in patients prone to infection and help manage infected wounds when the underlying cause of the infection has been addressed.
