SilverMed Silver Antibacterial Calcium Alginate Dressing

1. Cleanse the wound with sterile saline water and gently dry the surrounding skin.

2. Choose the appropriately sized SilverMed Antibacterial Alginate dressing to cover the wound bed. Do not overlap the margins of the wound bed.

3. Place the dressing over the wound, folding any additional material into the wound bed.

4. Cover with a secondary dressing of your choice.

Change dressing daily or as directed. Dressings must be changed at least every 7 days. If the wound appears dry, saturate the dressing with sterile saline water prior to removing the dressing.
