A Five Layer System

1. Outer Film Layer – helps to reduce shear and friction, creates a water-resistant bacterial barrier, and maintains an ideal MVTR
2. Inner Pouch – allows the layers to move freely, absorbing shear and friction
3. Absorbent Core – locks in exudate, bacteria, and MMPs, even under compression
4. Wicking Layer – increases absorption capacity by distributing exudate throughout the dressing
5. Silicone Layer – ensures gentle adhesion, excellent absorption rate, and a non-traumatic removal

What is Exu-Safe Technology™?
Exu-Safe Technology™ allows for two types of actions for wound care: This intelligent system draws in exudate before locking it inside the dressing’s center. As this occurs, horizontal wicking distributes the fluid over the dressing’s surface to lessen leaks and increase the amount of exudate absorbed. This action unfolds even under a compression bandage and traps bacteria present in the wound, including MRSA.
